A Workshop on “The Christian Focolare Interfaith Dialogue and the Development of the Loppiano Movement” was held on April 9th, 2014 at the IIIS.
At the beginning of the meeting, a video about the history of the Focolare Movement was displayed and afterwards, Ms. Soon Young Lee explained the history of interfaith dialogue between the Focolare Movement and Buddhism. Then, Mr. Powell Lamri talked about the history of interfaith dialogue between the Movement and Islam. Then, Dr. Roberto Catalano spoke on the history of dialogue between the Movement and Hinduism.
Then, Ms. Tanesini described the city of Loppiano, its residents and the Interfaith Dialogue Center of Loppiano. Finally, Dr. Shomali concluded that the Focolare Movement is one that has systematically spread spirituality around the world.
