On April 11 2015, IIIS was host to Archbishop Leo Boccardi Ambassador of Vatican to Iran, the President of Lateranense University Most Rev. Enrico dal Covolo S.D.B., and Professor Carlo G. Cheretti head of the Cultural Office of the Italian Embassy.
The meeting discussed academic and religious similarities and common interests. Issues such as student-exchange programs, guest lecturers, and collaboration were also covered. IIIS representatives introduced the institute and its educational and research policies, pointing out to Spiritual Quest, the quarterly magazine on ethics, workshops, book publications and etc.
In the end of the session a copy of Spiritual Quest and other multimedia packages on the Institute’s inter-faith dialogue efforts were gifted to the guests.
